Ed Bost
MORRIS EDWARD “ED” BOST, passed away May 9, 2007. He was 85 years old. He was born in Robstown, Texas on June 23, 1921 to the late Harold A. and Ora Pearl Bost. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Grace Ellen Denson Bost; sister Mildred Bost Reynolds, and brother Robert Bost. He is survived by his children Diane (& Charles) Wells, Elton (& Marylou) Bost, and Ken (& Alice) Bost; grandchildren David (& Nicole) Wells and sons, Caleb and Jackson; Robin (& Mark) Johnston and children, Kyla and Levi; Jonathon Bost, Brian (& Jenni) Bost, Julie Bost; Elizabeth Bost, Chase Bost, Kurt Bost, and Brittian Bost; brother Howard Bost; sister-in-law Mary Bost; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Ed retired from KPRC as Audio Supervisor after 38 years of service. He enjoyed being an amateur, “HAM”, radio operator. He was a member of Heights First Baptist Church from 1946-1974 where he was a Sunday school teacher and deacon. In the fall of 1974 he became a member of Houston’s First Baptist Church where he was a deacon and involved in the Broadcast and Audio Ministry.
