Annual Reunion Party

January 31, 2015

Chef Larry White makes a last minute check of the serving line.
Big Bird
This colorful bird kept watch over the food. Not quite the NBC peacock but certainly a bright addition to the party.
Bill Bremer and the Memorabilia Table
Bill Bremer at the memorabilia table. That laptop computer in the background displayed pictures of the history of Channel Two on a huge flatscreen TV.
Logos, Patches and a Ticket
More memorabila close up. The bumper stickers and patch are probably familiar, but how many remember the tassled ticket to the Fourtieth Anniversary Party?
Bruce Bryant had this fiberoptic sign built; Bill Bremer saved it from the trash bin. It's all made with fiber optics. No LED bulbs involved.
Catching up with others
Before lunch we all 'mingled', catching up on happenings of the past year. And with 60 people in attendence it took quite a bit of time.

While everyone else was enjoying their meal, Joe Campos wandered around and got a lot of close-up pictures of the crowd. They seemed to fit this page best when "pasted" to a chalk board.

The Campos Cam

(extra points if you can name everyone in the picture.)

Thanks also to Lyn Salerno for contributing pictures for this page.

Lois, Nancy and Stan
Lois Samford, Nancy Brown and Stan Matthews, on the left, had lunch at the check-in table. Alex and Gail Leiban, on the right having lunch with John Treadgold.

Leonard, Frankie and Russ
To the left, Leonard Patillo, Frankie Hicks and Russ Turner, legends of Channel 2 engineering. And to the right, Velma Wiggins, Jon Burkhardt and Bill Bremer.

Drawing Door Prize Numbers
While Lois Samford and John Burkhardt call the numbers the Bethkes and Knights check if they're winners.

And finally the big group picture that almost everyone was in. Except for those with a camera or smartphone. It was hard to get a picture with everyone looking in the same direction.
Just about everyone
It was a great party and we look forward to seeing you all next January.
